SharePoint

SharePoint, from Microsoft, is a software platform that enables colleagues, customers and partners to work together easily, sharing expertise and information across the enterprise. The system provides a vast number of capabilities that empower business users. For example, it enables users to collaborate on documents with each other, tag and rate content, self-publish, track group projects, and even develop their own productivity solutions.

We can also provide the necessary integration into other systems that operate alongside SharePoint - such as Outlook / Exchange, Office, Dynamics, or other third party software.

 

The latest version of the product is Microsoft SharePoint 2010, and this can either be hosted "on premise" in the customer's own hosting centre / data centre, or in the cloud using Microsoft's SharePoint Online service offering.
